Tim Snider finds his bread and butter within the jam worlds but his unbridled energy and stylistic eclecticism defy categorical borders. He appears to be hard wired to a unique energy source, looping the electric violin, guitar, cajon, and vocals and creating aural landscapes that have been described as a “world-folk hybrid, aimed at the heart, the head, and the feet.” For years Tim has been touring the world as the renowned violinist for the American band Nahko and Medicine for the People. His jams and solos have brought crowds to their feet at amphitheaters from Red Rocks to The Greek, in packed stadiums in the US and Canada, and at some of the world’s biggest festivals from Bonnaroo to Glastonbury. Now he is working on a brand new record with his band Tim Snider & Wolfgang Timber. His individual style of folk-fusion and conscience rock will have you vibrating and dancing with a new sense of purpose.
