Amherst Center Cultural District
In 2016, Amherst Center was designated a Cultural District by the Massachusetts Cultural Commission. The district is defined from Kendrick Park in the north to the Town Common in the south and east from the Dickinson Historic District on Main Street west to the Amherst History Museum on Amity Street.
