Providence-based artist Roz Raskin records and performs as NOVA ONE, examining queerness, femininity, and gender with utter grace through a gorgeously moody ‘60s-inspired pop lens. The 2018 debut EP secret princess introduced Raskin’s musical project as a creative reimagining of both ‘60s girl groups and the lush, effects-heavy haze of dream pop. The follow-up, 2020’s bold and impeccably produced lovable, sparkles with introspective lyricism and tender balladry. Live shows feature Roz and their band in elaborate and iconic drag costuming in an homage to the strength of femininity displayed by girl groups past and present.

Western Massachusetts duo Home Body make feeling-forward avant pop music, harnessing light, sound, and movement to present a throbbing synth spectacle oozing with raw energy and emotional grit. Their latest album ‘SPIRITUS’ (Feeding Tube Records/Peace & Rhythm) has been heralded as "gorgeous art-pop that's able to address big realities" (Bandcamp New & Notable). Playing with form and improvisation while retaining a dreamy pop sensibility and demanding stage presence, vocalist Haley Morgan and synthesist Eric Hnatow punctuate their electronic sound with dance and DIY manual light manipulation, reaching beyond their performance to create a high-vibration spectacle that is buzzing with soul, shadow, and depth. The duo's "powerful, thrilling" performances have earned them considerable buzz, with recent appearances at SXSW, Montreal POP, O+ Fest, and Green River Fest.
