The Amherst Community Band is made up of people of all ages who rehearse and perform unique concerts each summer for free in Amherst. The band is conducted by Dr. Timothy Todd Anderson -the UMass Amherst Marching Band Conductor.

This concert “Black Lives Matter” will feature music by black composers or associated with black performers: The Entertainer, all second endings, From the Delta; Memories of You; Sanford and Son; Tribute to Louis Armstrong; Heavenwards; The Wiz; We Shall Overcome; Duke Ellington
